Opendcim for dummies

Hello,
I try to install opendcim on windows 7.
I’m not an expert in php platforms and other virtual servers.
I tried to install Xampp and put Opendcim in C: \ xampp \ htdocs \ DCIM
I configure the user and database in mysql. OK
I run the url https://localhost/dcim/install.php
And I get the following error message:
Remote User-> fail
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/howto/auth.html
I do not know what to do.
Do you have a solution?
Do you have another platform PHP / MySQL for Dummies, an installation tutorial (without a VM).

I am sorry that you are having problems - we do not officially
support openDCIM running under Windows platforms. However, some of our
users have managed to get it running, and they may be able to help. There
is a tutorial for installing it onto a Linux VM, which you could easily run
in Windows 7 with VirtualBox or VMWare Workstation, both of which are free
virtualization platforms.
From first glance, though, it appears that you have not configured
your website to require authentication, and openDCIM will not work properly
without that, which is why it fails to install.
